I praise you Lord, for you are my Savior and Redeemer; you are the Almighty and the Bread of Life; you are the Master and Creator of all things; you are the Lord of Lords and the king of kings; you are the Good Shepherd, the Alpha and the Omega, the Bright and Morning Star, and the Fountain of Living Waters; You are the Light of the World, and the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and You are the Prince of Peace, and therefore You alone deserve all the glory, praise and honor, and I worship you alone as my Rock and my Salvation, as you are the only true and living God.
Lord, help me to keep your word, and to follow your commands, and to press upon my heart that: “The eye is the lamp of the body; and therefore when my eye is clear, my whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, my body also is full of darkness” (Luke 11:34, NASB). I know that to live according to the sinful nature is death, because the mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God and cannot submit to your commands (Romans 8:7). Therefore, Lord, lead me by your Spirit, and put to death the misdeeds of the body, and help me to desire what you desire. For the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:5-6).
Holy God, I pray for the spirit of wisdom and understanding, to know you better and to hold to Your teaching, to be filled with the knowledge of Your will, not mine, and may the eyes of my heart be enlightened in order to know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance and your incomparably great power for us who believe- Ephesians 1:17-19/ Colossians 1:9/ John 8:31-32. Dear heavenly Father, help me to surrender my will to you, and to seek and to serve you with a wholehearted love and devotion (I Chronicles 28:9). In Jesus’s name, Amen
